Music plays a huge role in shaping my stories. When I dive into a new project, I like to build a playlist that mixes songs mentioned in the story with tracks that capture the mood and energy I want the story to convey.

For Ghosts of Christmas Presents, that meant lots of holiday favorites, both old and new. The book focuses on how Callie feels like she's left the magic of past holiday seasons behind, so my goal for the music was to both honor the classics and find songs that bring old favorites into the future.
